Abstract
National Week of the Book and Library of Uberlândia Federal University – UFU – SNLB / UFU – Trans – Colors (IN) visible: Trans invisibility in educational and formal work spaces
The Library System of the Federal University of Uberlandia - SISBI / UFU celebrated between 29/10 to 01/11 of 2018 the 3rd National Book and Library Week, with the theme: (IN)"Visible Trans-Colors: Trans Invisibility in Educational and Formal Work Spaces". It was necessary to discuss the daily life of transsexuals in the educational and labor market, as well as to debate the challenges faced in their daily reality in search of visibility and social belonging. Promoting respect for human diversity in search of an egalitarian social coexistence. As well as reflecting public policies and social actions that expand the guarantee of rights and transformations cultural partners in search of a tolerant and just society. The main objective of this project was to make SISBI / UFU fulfill its institutional mission by promoting lectures, debates, artistic, cultural activities and encouraging reading, as well as the dissemination of products and services offered by libraries in favor of consolidation of teaching, research and university extension. Therefore, make efforts in this regard, and understand that such initiatives can contribute to a process of social and educational formation permeated by culture, information, encouraging reading and respect for all diversity and, consequently, for the formation of more aware and inward citizens. from a more humanized perspective. SNLB / 2018 intended to open and continue this dialogue more than necessary, which is our term "Libraries for All" in our country. As the 2030 UN agenda advocates, no one can be left behind.
