Abstract
Goethe-Institut one company, one corporate design, three different examples how to approach library and customer’s needs
The libraries of Goethe-Institut in South-East Asia are incredibly vital. The visitors are mostly young and all of them are brought up in a very dynamic and lively environment. These young people are keen to learn, they love to meet people and they love to laugh. But the expectations of these well trained customers are high. Not only the technical equipment has to be fine and useful but the refurnishing should also be interesting and stimulating. The customers expect to get support for their language training but also want to relax from the busy cities. All this requires innovative concepts of space design. The Goethe-Institut South-East Asian libraries have been over the last two years actively fulfilling their needs. Visit the redesigned libraries of Goethe-Institut Bangkok, Hanoi and Bandung in their historic buildings which are uniquely in contrast with the library of Goethe-Institut Manila in the ultramodern business center. Furthermore, our poster will show you the fantastic and different space concepts. Dive in to our magic cardboard and discover these libraries by yourself. Meet the comic and gaming enthusiasts in Bangkok and Bandung, participate with the language students the learning hub in Hanoi, and relax in Manila.Item Type: | Conference or Workshop Item (Poster) | |||||||||
