Abstract
Libraries for Children and Young Adults in Germany
The poster gives a quick overview of public libraries in Germany for age groups 0-12 and 13-18. You will find facts about the German library system in general, collection development, ethics and human resources, and programs and activities. The poster is accompanied by a 20-page-brochure with more detailed information on how children's and young adults' libraries respond to the current challenges of a constantly changing media landscape. In the appendix, eight very diverse children's and young adults' libraries are presented.
