Abstract
New programme – new audience, a step towards a new perception in a society (Recognize and map heritage: cultural orienteering on the plateau)
Within the manifestation European Heritage Days 2017, National Library of Serbia held the workshops, dedicated to the education of children on the topic of cultural heritage. Pupils from the Primary School Sveti Sava in Belgrade, were divided into 2 thematic groups in the period 18-22 September. Through the play and orientation in the environment, children were introduced to the cultural heritage that is all around us. With this programs the NLS cherish its future audience, develops their research spirit and encourages their creative gift. -3rd grade pupils, accompanied by teachers participated in the Culutral Orienteering Tour: Three monuments on the plateau, dedicated to the significant figures from the Serbian history, were three target points for small researchers: Karadjordje Monument, Saint Sava Monument, Nikola Tesla Monument. After the orienteering they had art workshop with theme: My place on the plateau. -6th grade pupils, accompanied by teachers participated in the Library Tour: Three points in the National Library of Serbia, as the symbols of cultural heritage, were the target points for the participants of this tour: The way of knowledge, Remembrance of the burned library, Sculpture Eternal Flame;.
