Abstract
[A]Cross Borders: U.S.-Mexico Periodical Archives Digital Project
This paper describes the Borderlands Archive Cartography (BAC), which is a project that uses digitization and digital mapping to facilitate access to periodicals published on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. The goals of the project are: 1) to increase access to literary materials to academic researchers and borderland communities with historical, cultural, and political significance produced along the border and, 2) to preserve unique information found in periodicals from the region.Item Type: | Conference or Workshop Item (Paper) | ||||||||||||
