Abstract

On the Development of the Library Mobile Service Based on Mobile Communication Technologies

In recent years, the mobile communication technologies have witnessed the rapid growth, from 1G system to 4G system, then to the 5G system that will get into commercial operation in 2020. It has become more and more popular to access to mobile services on mobile devices. At the same time, libraries have become the most important digital sources of knowledge on the Internet, especially in the science and technology research areas. In this poster, the history and development of mobile communication technologies is described from 1G to 5G. The mobile services are divided into 9 types in libraries by the author. They are voice services, short message service, WAP pages, APP service, streaming media service, WeChat platform service, intelligent recommendation service, cloud storage and computing service, and Virtual reality /Augmented reality usage scenarios service. It is helpful for Users to access to Internet with faster data transmission rates and lower latency in 5G era. In the future, it will improve the user's experience and extend the scope of the mobile information services.
