Abstract

Healthy, satisfied librarians to serve the customers and the community better

Family friendly and healthy human resources management is not only a keyword for the State and University Library in Hamburg but we also try to live it actively. To work in a social environment is a big challenge for everybody. So the staff needs the best general conditions for the daily work to perform the best and be durable satisfied with the own professional every day. The State and University Library Hamburg created a framework of a support system for their staff for health management and compatibility of family and profession which can be easily be changed or be transmitted for others. The poster will show also that digitization will strengthen the possibilities of consistency in work-life-learn-balance.
